Cover Jacksonville - Bridging The Gap For The Uninsured

Our Mission

To support families in their efforts to maximize their children's potential to be healthy, safe, educated and contributing members of the community.

Our Work & Guiding Principles for Jacksonville's Children

The Jacksonville Children’s Commission works with local nonprofit organizations to improve the health and lives of children in Duval. The Commission monitors its programs for effectiveness and outcomes, focusing on prevention, early intervention, and support programs for families and children 0 – 18. The organization’s work is aligned with its four guiding principles: children grow and develop during out-of-school time; have stable and nurturing familiesenter kindergarten prepared to learn; and get intervention and special help when needed.
