Property owners whose gross household incomes are at or below 150 percent of the annual Federal Poverty Level may be eligible for exemption of the stormwater fee charged to their primary residence. This program is administered by the City of Jacksonville Behavioral and Human Services Division.  Note: This program does not apply to the residential solid waste fee.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT DEADLINES:
Applications and supporting documentation should be submitted on or before July 31 to ensure that upon approval, the stormwater fee is exempted before the tax bill is issued.  All applications and supporting documentation must be received no later than Sept. 16. Tax bills will be amended if the exemption is approved after the tax bill is issued.  Applicants are solely responsible for ensuring that applications and required documentation are received prior to the final Sept. 16 deadline.
