Anyone who has been a victim of fire knows how difficult recovery can be. The site offers some help after a fire with immediate tips on necessary actions to take as well as information on replacing lost documents. There's even a page with information about what to do after calling 911 and waiting for the ambulance.
The director/fire chief of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department oversees a department with more than 1,200 firefighters and emergency medical personnel. JFRD provides service to about 900,000 people living in Jacksonville, which covers about 840 square miles.
