Welcome to the Fourth Judicial Circuit.
The Duval County Courthouse opened in June 2012. This is a stately and functional facility, which will serve the citizens of Duval County for many years into the future. The address for the Duval County Courthouse is 501 West Adams Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202.
As Chief Judge, it is my responsibility to ensure that our courts in the Fourth Judicial Circuit are accessible, fair, effective, and responsive to the citizens of Clay, Duval and Nassau Counties and everyone who appears in our courts.
All of our judges, magistrates, hearing officers, staff attorneys and court administration staff are dedicated professionals committed to upholding the high standards of justice prescribed by the law. We promise to provide our citizens justice without prejudice in a professional manner focused on protecting rights while upholding and interpreting the law, and providing expeditious resolution of disputes.
As we serve the citizens of Clay, Duval, and Nassau Counties and those who enter the courtrooms of the Fourth Judicial Circuit each year, we are mindful of the limited resources allocated to our branch of government. In this tough economic climate, we are dedicated to fiscal responsibility. We are committed to providing you with information and access to the courts in an innovative and efficient manner. This website provides useful information about our Circuit, including our judges, programs, services and operations. The use of technology in this manner increases accessibility to the courts for everyone in an economical manner. Whether you are a citizen, litigant, or an attorney, I am hopeful these resources will be of assistance to you.
We hope you find our website informative and helpful in your interaction with the Fourth Judicial Circuit. You will find detailed information on all our court programs, judges, contacts, and courthouse locations. On behalf of all 55 judges in our circuit, I welcome you to the Fourth Judicial Circuit’s website.
