JaxGIS
COJ's JaxGIS mapping application can be used to find various location information quickly and easily. Types of useful data you can find includes:

  • The JaxGIS My Neighborhood application shows you which police station, fire station, and hospital is closest to your address.
  • You can see selling prices for homes in your area by viewing properties on the JaxGIS Duval Maps site. Four years of sales history from the Property Appraiser is available on the site.
  • If you want to know about crime in your neighborhood, you can go to the JaxGIS Crime Stats site, enter an address or click a point and you will get a breakdown and description of crimes in your area.
  • By entering your address in the JaxGIS My Neighborhood application, you get a complete listing of your national, state and City Council political representatives with links to their web pages.
  • You can access more detailed imagery than is available on the internet for all of Duval County using our JaxGIS Duval Maps site. Here, by selecting the Image tool GIS Image Tool Icon, you can choose a location on the map and view a group of selectable thumbnail images representing various angles of view for that location.
  • You can view evacuation routes and flood zones for any area in Duval County by going to the JaxGIS Duval Maps site and selecting the Evacuation Route layer or Current Flood Zones layer.
  • Use the JaxGIS My Neighborhood application to view your yard, recycling and garbage pick-up days.
  • View the zoning or land use category for any area in Duval County by going to the JaxGIS Duval Maps site and selecting the Zoning layer or Land Use layer.
