Many of the City of Jacksonville's departments and divisions are now able to send newsletters in e-mail format to patrons. Groups sending regular electronic newsletters and alerts include, Special Events, Military Affairs, and City Coucil Member, Robin Lumb. You can subscribe to a newsletter by contacting the specific department or group and providing your e-mail address.

ITD technology helps our environment by assisting City of Jacksonville environmental professionals to collect and analyze data about the St. Johns River, as well as other bodies of water in Duval County. Jax Children's Commission - Portfolio Application
Child Care Management Services (CCMS) is a State of Florida system that maintains dataon those residents who qualify for state-funded child care, screenings, and benefits that come with this service. CCMS sends information to the JCC Portfolio application here in Duval County so that local children in need of assistance can participate in the program.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department

JFRD - MDT Device Installs
The Mobile Data Terminal is a ruggedized and highly specialized laptop used by rescue personnel during patient transport. The new MDT devices allow JFRD to collect your electronic signature which is required by law when providing emergency care. Collecting your signature electronically saves time and money and ensures all of your personal and billing information is recorded accurately.
JFRD - Zoll Data Relay System
The Zoll Data Relay System enables emergency medical personnel to communicate with physicians and save lives by allowing caregivers to intervene with certain treatments before arriving at the hospital.
JFRD EOC - Incident Management Application
Incident Management opens channels of communication between the neighboring counties of Duval, Clay, Baker, and Nassau in the event of an emergency such as a hurricane or storm when vital information must be disseminated quickly.

ITD combined Zoning and Land Use requests into one account and created the ability to process applications online. No need to make trips to city offices now for Zoning and Land Use requests. We've eliminated the paper, too, by implementing electronic document submission.

The new Right of Way web permitting technology allows for more expedient handling of permits, payments, and documentation for citizens who did not previously have access to these features.

The Mitchell Teen Center in Arlington offers recreation and enrichment opportunities for teens which include the ability to use a computer with internet access when this equipment would otherwise not be available.
