The City of Jacksonville's Information Technologies Division is proud to annouce the JAX Apps Store coming soon for iPhone and Android devices. You will be able to download City apps which you can use quickly and easily for common city-related services. We are working to develop new apps as quickly as possible using existing data and hope to have several new downloads to choose from by the end of 2013.

Mayor Alvin Brown announced today that IBM has selected Jacksonville to receive an IBM Smarter Cities Challenge grant. The grant provides Jacksonville with access to IBM's top experts to analyze and recommend ways the city can become an even better place in which to live and work.
