Workforce

Jacksonville has dynamic regional workforce pool of approximately 700,000. All types of companies can find workers to suit their needs with all levels of skills, education and experience – including many with former military service. WorkSource, Northeast Florida's regional workforce development board, is a great resource to companies and provides job analysis and employee assessment tools, customized training, workplace education and outplacement services. In addition to training and assistance provider by WorkSource, the state of Florida offers Incumbent Worker Training and Quick Response Training grants.
