The 2012 Jacksonville Film & Television Industry Achievement Award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions resulting in a significant impact on the film and television industry. This Award will be presented at the annual film industry reception in September. We are now taking nominations for the 2012 Film & Television Award Recipient!

Nomination Deadline

Nominations for candidates for the award may come at any time during the year by completing a nomination form and submitting it to the Film & Television Office. The deadline to submit a nomination for the 2012 Film & Television Industry Achievement Award is June 22, 2012

A written nomination form must be completed for each nominee and will be kept on file in the JEDC Film & Television Office. Click here to fill out a nomination form.

Criteria/Eligibility

This award symbolizes the epitome of service to the film and television industry. Nominees should be committed to the film & television industry and exhibit exemplary professionalism, creativity, resourcefulness and tangible results, actively participating over a number of years. Elected or paid city employees should only be considered under special circumstances.

Award Selection Committee

The Award Selection Committee shall be composed of at least one past chairman of the Mayor's Film & Television Advisory Board and other board members appointed by the current chairman. The committee will be staffed by the Director of the Film Office. This committee will make its recommendation to the entire board for a final vote.
