Mayor's Disability Council Employee of the Quarter
Employees with disabilities diversify many businesses, agencies and organizations in Jacksonville. The Mayor's Disability Council has created the Employee of the Quarter Award to recognize and promote examples of excellence in the Jacksonville disability workforce.
The nomination process is easy. You may either nominate yourself, a hard working employee or a co-worker that you believe represents excellence for people with disabilities working in Jacksonville, Florida.

Quarterly winners will be invited to the Mayor's Disability Council Meeting to accept their award. With permission, a picture of the winner and their story will be posted here to inspire others.
Most Recent Award Winner (April 2013)
Rodney Robinson has been employed with Red Lobster for 22 years. Rodney is blind and slowly losing his hearing. With the help of a teammate who inspects his work, he wraps over 400 pieces of silverwear. His co-worker said, “He is very upbeat and shares his poetry with them.” Rodney has never missed a day of work.
