The Wellhead Protection Program is made up of a dedicated a team of geologists, and environmental specialists who are responsible for addressing wellhead protection issues.
The Wellhead Protection Program consists of the following members:
Environmental Programs Manager
The Environmental Programs Manager, Kevin R. Hayes, P.G., is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the city's Technical Services Branch. His responsibilities include facilitating the coordination between the Wellhead Protection Program and other city agencies with respect to ground water protection. Additionally, he shall provide technical assistance throughout the implementation and operation of the Wellhead Protection Program.

Wellhead Protection Section Head
As the Wellhead Protection Section Head, Vijay Satoskar, Ph.D., P.G., is responsible for the management of the city's Wellhead Protection Program. In addition to providing the technical leadership for the program, he is also responsible for the mapping of wellhead protection areas; the mapping and evaluation of contamination sites and private wells within wellhead protection areas; and Geographic Information System data management.

Germain Del Toro is the Program's Wellhead Specialist. As such, he is responsible for coordinating the mapping and inspection of the private wells within the wellhead protection areas. Additionally, Del Toro provides technical assistance to the Section Head and assists in the implementation of the program.
