PUBLIC NOTICE: Federal Grant Applications Available
The City of Jacksonville’s Housing and Community Development Division (HCDD) 
announces that the  2013-2014 applications are available, for the following
City of Jacksonville Consolidated Plan federal grant programs:
·        Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
·        HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME)   
·        Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)
·        Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG)
·        Section 3 Plan  
Written applications will be accepted from public and private non-profit 501 (c)(3)
agencies until   5:00 p.m. on April 5, 2013.
Projects in which funds are requested must meet one of the following 
national objectives:
·        Benefiting low-and moderate-income persons, or
·        Aiding in the elimination or prevention of slum and blight.
Mandatory Technical Assistance Workshops
All non-profit 501 (c)(3) agencies applying for funds are required to attend a
mandatory technical assistance workshop. At the workshops, Housing and
Community Development staff will review the grant application process,
proper eligibility and provide information to assist with application preparation.
Please call HCDD office at (904) 255-8200 to register for a workshop.
Sample applications may be picked up at the workshops. Original applications
for submission should be downloaded from this site, beginning Wednesday,
February 13, 2013.

Budget Workshop
*A budget workshop will be held and is mandatory for any organizations that will apply:

No applications will be accepted from agencies that have not attended a
mandatory technical assistance and budget workshop. The mandatory
budget workshop must be attended by the agency’s financial staff responsible
for managing the CDBG grant. If after attending a workshop, applicants that
need additional assistance the CDBG staff will be available on Wednesdays
from 9 a.m. to noon at the Housing and Community Development Division,
214 N. Hogan Street, 8th Floor, Jacksonville, FL 32202 or by telephone at
(904) 255-8200 beginning Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013.
If any non-English speaking persons or person with mobility, visual or hearing
impairments wish to attend the workshops and have special needs, please
notify HCDD staff at 255-8200, in advance, so that accommodations
may be made.

2013 BUDGET and FINANCIAL ANALYSIS FORMS (Excel)

Instructions to save as Word document or .pdf:
Right click on link to document, select 'save as' from the
drop-down menu. Select local directory as appropriate.
Use drop down arrow to select the drive where you want
to save the document.
Ex: c:\2013 UNIVERSAL APPLICATION
Once the document has been saved as a Word document
or .pdf it can be retrieved time and time again. The
document can be saved with a different name, and in a
different folder each time it is used. The original will remain intact.

To Find Census Data on http://maps.coj.net:

1. Click on Duval maps. duval maps

 

 

 

 

 

2. Under parcel search enter Re# or address.property menu

 

 

3. Click Search.

4. Under Active Layers, in lower right hand corner of screen, scroll down to Census Tract 2000, click visible square (Find Census Data.pdf 112 kb) and active circle to enable.layers menu

 

 

 

5. Click Refresh map.

6. Click on i on toolbar (Find Census Data.doc 97 kb).toolbar
 

 


7. Click on specific Census Tract and information will display in the upper right panel.census tract screen
