Hardest Hit Goes Statewide Today

Today unemployed or underemployed homeowners in Florida, who are having difficulty paying their mortgages, will be able to apply for financial assistance from the Florida Hardest-Hit Fund (HHF). Florida homeowners may apply for financial assistance from the Hardest Hit fund by using the official HHF website: www.FLHardestHitHelp.org. The site contains all the information users will need to begin the application process, including a program fact sheet, answers to frequently asked questions and links to resources that may be helpful to those experiencing economic challenges.  

Approximately $114 Million Available from HUD

HUD has released the Notice of Funding Availability for the Section 811 Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities. Section 811 is the federal program that provides funding for the development and operation of supportive housing for very low-income persons with disabilities who are at least 18 years old.

The application deadline date is June 23, 2011. Get the full application and forms through www.Grants.gov.
