Homeowner/Condo Training
On Tuesday, June 5, 2012 the City of Jacksonville Neighborhoods Department in partnership with the
Katzman, Garfinkel & Berger Law Firm offered a free training on Homeowner/Condo Board Member Basics. They also provided board member and property manager certification. The handouts were for attendees only.
Meeting Management - Ethics, Government in the Sunshine and Robert's Rules of Order
On Tuesday, February 7, 2012 the City of Jacksonville Ethics Compliance and Oversight, Neighborhoods Department, Housing and Community Development Division in partnership with Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc. provided a free training on Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Government in the Sunshine, Robert's Rules of Order and Meeting Management.

On Thursday, May 26, 2011 the Housing and Neighborhoods Department in partnership with Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc. provided a free training on how to run an effective meeting using Robert's Rules of Order.

Condo Training
On Thursday, April 7, 2011 the Housing and Neighborhoods Department partnered with the law firm of Becker & Poliakoff from Orlando to provide free legal training and Condo Board Certification.
2010 CommUniverCity
The Housing and Neighborhoods Department in partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant sponsored the 2010 CommUniverCity - Training Neighborhood Leaders - Back To School.
The CommUniverCity was a free, nine-week training course, "2010 CommUniverCity Training Neighborhood Leaders - Back To School." The goal of the course was to develop strong neighborhood leaders. Residents developed skills to establish and maintain successful neighborhood organizations and will help make Jacksonville the BEST place to live, work and raise a family.
Homeowner Training
On Saturday, September 25, 2010 the Housing and Neighborhoods Department partnered with the law firm of Becker & Poliakoff from Orlando to provide free legal training for residents that live in a community that has a Homeowner Association.
