JaxParks Youth Camps Heat Up for Summer Fun!
2018 Summer Camp Registration begins on May 8th!!!

JaxParks makes summer time the best time for youth with a bevy of camp experiences packed with sports, arts, adventure and friends. From surfing in the Atlantic Ocean to ... it's all about creating special memories that will make your summer the best.
JaxParks camps are for ages 6 - 17. Most camps are offered in three, two-week sessions, from June 18 through July 27. Fees, registration information and hours of operation vary by camp. Select links below to go to specific program and information categories:
Day-Enrichment Camps / Tennis Camp / Ocean Camp
JaxParks also offers Teen Power for ages 13 to 17. Space is limited and an interview selection process applies. Contact the camp director at the specific location in which you are interested. Registration will be downtown only and based upon approval. Locations are same as Day-Enrichment Camps.
Financial vouchers are available for qualified applicants for Day-Enrichment camps on a first come, first served basis. For information and a voucher application form, click here.
Day-Enrichment Camps (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
Campers will explore nature, play team sports, challenge their game skills and tap into their creative imagination while developing education and social skills. They will also meet guest speakers and enjoy trips to Jumbo Shrimp Game, the Jacksonville Zoo, and Adventure Landing. Add to all of that an End of Summer Bash featuring a field day of fun, games, and music; and no one will want to miss this JaxParks summer camp.

Fee: $75 per camper per two-week session, plus a required non-refundable activity fee of $20 per camper per two-week session. Extended day is available for a fee of $20 per camper per two-week session

Tennis Camp (hours vary)
Campers will participate based on age and skill level. Ten (10) and Under Tennis for ages 6 - 10 utilizes age-appropriate equipment and is played on a smaller sized court. Advanced Beginners for ages 11 - 15 emphasizes serving techniques and game play situations.

8 - 9:30 a.m., Monday - Thursday
36' & 60' Red and Orange Ball Utilized
Full Court Tennis (ages 10 - 12)
8 - 11 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays
Green Dot & Yellow Ball, 60' and Full Court Utilized
Full Court (ages 13 - 15)
8 - 11 a.m., Mondays and Wednesdays

Ocean Camp (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
Participants explore the waters and shoreline at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park. Activities include surfing, sand castle creation, beach art, beach volleyball and environmental adventures. Campers must pass a pre-registration swim test administered by JaxParks staff.

Summer Camp Voucher Information
Fee vouchers will be distributed through a lottery system. Seven voucher verification sessions are scheduled prior to the lottery. Attendance at one of the voucher verification sessions is required to be entered into the lottery. Please bring all proper paperwork to the voucher verification session. NOTE: Vouchers do not cover the $20-per-session (non-refundable) activity fee. This fee will be required for each participant at the time of registration, no exceptions.
