JaxParks Youth Camps Heat Up for Summer Fun!
JaxParks makes summer time the best time for youth with a bevy of camp experiences packed with sports, arts, adventure and friends. From surfing in the Atlantic Ocean to ... it's all about creating special memories that will make your summer the best.
JaxParks camps are for ages 6 - 17. Most camps are offered in three, two-week sessions, from June 27 through August 5. Fees, registration information and hours of operation vary by camp. Select links below to go to specific program and information categories:
Day-Enrichment Camps / Tennis Camp / Ocean Camp
JaxParks also offers Teen Power for ages 13 to 17. Space is limited and an interview selection process applies. Contact the camp director at the specific location in which you are interested. Registration will be downtown only and based upon approval. Locations are same as Day-Enrichment Camps.
Financial vouchers are available for qualified applicants for Day-Enrichment camps on a first come, first served basis. For information and a voucher application form, click here.
Day-Enrichment Camps (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
This summer will offer experiences to remember including a day at Hanna Park, a boat ride on the St. Johns River, guest speakers, nature hikes, trips to the Jacksonville Zoo and Jacksonville Public Libraries, swimming, sports and games, art, educational fun and more.

Ages: 6 - 12
Fee: $75 per camper per two-week session, plus a required non-refundable activity fee of $20 per camper per two-week session. Extended day is available for a fee of $20 per camper per two-week session

Tennis Camp (hours vary)
Campers will participate based on age and skill level. Ten (10) and Under Tennis for ages 6 - 10 utilizes age-appropriate equipment and is played on a smaller sized court. Advanced Beginners for ages 11 - 15 emphasizes serving techniques and game play situations.

Fees: $40 per camper per two-week session
Registration: Begins Monday, May 14. You must register in person at the tennis center of your choice.
Ten (10) and Under Tennis (ages 6 - 7)
8 - 9:30 a.m., Monday - Thursday
36-inch court only
Ten (10) and Under Tennis (ages 8 - 10)
8 - 11 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays
60-inch court only
Advanced Beginners (ages 11 - 15)
8 - 11 a.m., Mondays and Wednesdays
60-inch court/full court

Ocean Camp (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
Participants explore the waters and shoreline at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park. Activities include surfing, sand castle creation, beach art, beach volleyball and environmental adventures. Campers must pass a pre-registration swim test administered by JaxParks staff.

Fee: $150 per participant per two-week session, extended day is available for $25 per two-week session

Summer Camp Voucher Information
Fee vouchers will be distributed through a lottery system. Seven voucher verification sessions are scheduled prior to the lottery. Attendance at one of the voucher verification sessions is required to be entered into the lottery. Please bring all proper paperwork to workshop. NOTE: Vouchers do not cover the $20-per-session activity fee. This fee will be required for each participant at the time of registration, no exceptions.
Voucher lottery will be held May 3 and an email notification will be sent to recipients.
