Lifeguard Training 2022 Begins Soon!

JaxParks Aquatics is gearing up for this year's swim season and are looking to hire lifeguards! Never been a lifeguard or need to be recertified as a lifeguard, no problem, get the training you need with us.  All you have to do is complete these three prerequisites skills: 
  • 300 yard swim
  • 2 minutes of treading water without using hands
  • Retrieve a 10 pound brick from the bottom of the diving well.

2022 Training dates:

Recertification Course - All times are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  • March 18th - Woodland Acres
  • April 9th - Woodland Acres
  • April 18th - Emmett Reed
  • May 7th - Julius Guinyard

Full Length Training Classes - All times are 3:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.

  • March 21st - March 25th - Woodland Acres 
  • April 18th - April 22nd - Emmett Reed
  • April 25th - 29th - Pine Forest

March 16th & March 17th, Charles Clark
