First Coast Community AIDS Prevention Partnership (FCCAPP)

The First Coast Community AIDS Prevention Partnership (FCCAPP) represents Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties in the process of community planning for HIV/AIDS prevention. Community planning is mandated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The purpose of FCCAPP is to plan and develop a Comprehensive HIV Prevention Plan for Area 4. The FCCAPP is composed of local community representatives, health department representatives, and HIV prevention services representatives.
 
FCCAPP meets the first Tuesday of every other month from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Historic Springfield Community Center, 1601 North Main Street, 2nd floor, in Jacksonville. The next meetings are scheduled for October 1 and December 3, 2013. The 2014 schedule is: February 4, April 1, June 3, August 5, October 7, and December 2.

Early Identification of Individuals with HIV/AIDS (EIIHA)

The Early Identification of Individuals with HIV/AIDS (EIIHA) is a committee comprised of members from the local health departments, AIDS service organizations, community based organizations, and area Ryan White providers. EIIHA focuses on finding and contacting HIV+ clients who have been out of care, and linking them back into the system in order for them to receive medical services, non-medical services such as housing or legal assistance, and medication. The second mission of EIIHA is to link those newly diagnosed with the proper services. The EIIHA Committee falls under the jurisdiction of the Ryan White program and covers Area 4 – Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties.
 
The EIIHA Committee meets the third Friday of every other month from 10:30 a.m. to Noon at 1809 Art Museum Drive (Building 3400), 1st floor conference room, in Jacksonville. The next meetings are scheduled for October 18 and December 20, 2013. The 2014 schedule is: February 21, April 18, June 20, August 15, October 17, and December 19.
