JASMYN offers a safe space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth that will nurture health and well-being and enhance pride and self-esteem. The Youth Drop In Center, located at the JASMYN House, 923 Peninsular, offers a safe place to meet friends, educational programs, and recreational activities. It is open Friday, 4:00 - 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, 2:00 - 10:00 p.m. to all youth ages 13-23. SPECTRUM, a group for young gay, bisexual and curious guys meets on Thursdays from 4:00-10:00 p.m. to build a strong and supportive community. This group is for young GBQ men regardless of HIV status. Postive Tomorrows is a support group for HIV positive youth ages 13-23 and meets as determined. Positive Attitudes offers a mixed group Tuesdays starting at 7:00 p.m. The 3rd Tuesday is a pot luck social for family and friends. Contact Frieda at (904) 348-8664 for more information.
