Welcome to the Historic Preservation Section's digital archives. The Historic Preservation Section maintain a small physical archive in the Ed Ball Building that encompasses heritage material relating to the City of Jacksonville.  The following webpages were developed to make portions of the documents from the archives easily accessible to the public.

The social register book is titled The Four Hundred dated 1929-1930. It is a social register for the City of Jacksonville. The purpose of this register was to list where the prominent people of the city lived and to illustrate the various clubs of Jacksonville and who were members of each club.
