Nathaniel Glover Jr.Nathaniel Glover Jr. was confirmed as a Trustee by the City Council following his selection as the fifth member of the Pension Board. He is currently serving his second term. Nat began his law enforcement career as a Police Officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in 1966, and was promoted through the ranks until he was named Director of Police Services, one of the top three positions in the Department. After retiring in 1995 with 28 years of service, Nat was elected Sheriff of Jacksonville, whereupon he became the first African-American to be elected Sheriff in Florida in more than 100 years. He served as Sheriff for two terms and retired from the Department on June 30, 2003.

Mr. Glover is currently serving as the 29th President of Edward Waters College at Jacksonville, FL.
