Jessica joined our Pension Fund staff in August 2016.
Before joining the Fund, Jessica worked in the legal field while she pursued higher education. She earned her BA degree with a major in International Relations and minor in Economics from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in December 2012. While she attended FIU, she was a member of Golden Key International Honour Society, where she served as Recording Secretary in Fall 2012. She was nominated and admitted to Phi Beta Kappa in Fall 2012. After graduating from FIU, Jessica returned to Jacksonville in 2013 and worked in the legal field before she pursued her Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at University of North Florida. She earned her MPA in August 2016, right before she joined the Fund as our part-time Public Records Specialist.
Jessica was promoted to her current position with the Fund in June 2017. As the full-time Records Specialist, she is responsible for managing and overseeing the Records Management Program for the Police and Fire Pension Fund.
Jessica enjoys volunteering in the community, especially in her role as Board Secretary for GastroJax Inc., a nonprofit organization that highlights the culinary scene of Northeast Florida.
