Field Appraiser – Field Operations Division
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Valid Florida driver’s license (no more than eight points accumulated in the last three years, no DUI in the last three years)
· Ability to produce two-dimensional drawings of buildings
· Ability to work without supervision
· Completion of at least one real estate course such as appraising or home inspection or a college degree preferred
· Experience with construction types and structural elements preferred
Field appraiser duties include locating properties utilizing maps and legal descriptions, measuring structures, drawing buildings, identifying and listing building characteristics and features. The job requires extensive walking in diverse weather conditions common for Northeast Florida. Employees are expected to meet production and quality standards.
Starting salary is between $28,000 and $33,000 depending on experience.
