NFAN has a new group for African American males that will be meeting Saturdays from 5-6:30 p.m. Call (904) 356-1612 for info if a ride is needed.
CRC (Rational Living Group) has a mixed group that meets Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Community Rehabilitation Center Inc. 7240 Lem Turner Road Jacksonville, FL 32208. Call (904) 766-7799 for further information and requirements.
SJHH offers a mixed group that meets Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. Cora Woodard facilitates and can be reached at (904) 244-9245. She asks you to call in advance to register the person.
SJHH offers a MSM support group that meets every Thursday from 1PM to 3PM at St. Johns Horizon House, 1610 Jefferson St. Call (904) 359-6571 for more info.
JASMYN offers a safe space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth that will nurture health and well-being and enhance pride and self-esteem. The Youth Drop In Center, located at the JASMYN House, 923 Peninsular, offers a safe place to meet friends, educational programs, and recreational activities. It is open Friday, 4:00 - 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, 2:00 - 10:00 p.m. to all youth ages 13-23. SPECTRUM, a group for young gay, bisexual and curious guys meets on Thursdays from 4:00-10:00 p.m. to build a strong and supportive community. This group is for young GBQ men regardless of HIV status. Postive Tomorrows is a support group for HIV positive youth ages 13-23 and meets as determined. The Women's Center of Jacksonville/ HIV/AIDS Voices Program offers two weekly therapuetic Groups for Positive Women on Wednesdays. The ADAPT group is 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and VOICES Group is 7 p.m.-8 p.m. Please contact Wendi Cancilla at ( 904) 722-3194 x219 to register. Transportation is available.
Shands Hospital offers a Men's and Women's Spiritual Support Group the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at noon. Willie Roberts facilitates and can be reached at (904) 244-6515. Call her or have the participant call in advance. 6tth floor NICU conference room.
Positive Attitudes offers a mixed group Tuesdays starting at 7:00 p.m. The 3rd Tuesday is a pot luck social for family and friends. Contact Frieda at (904) 348-8664 for more information.
Positive Sisters offers a support group for women which meets every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 1 -3 p.m. at 1045 Riverside Ave. at the NFAN offices.
