The kennedy ctr. Attendance was 132. At the beginning it started out slow, but picked up as the rain passed thru. The pool and basketball court were the most favorable activities of the night. Our community enjoyed the music and the greetings that they received . We hope to have a better turn out tomorrow, and start fresh next week. Tonight at the Kennedy center 110 people attended at our activities tonight. We had a few basketball tournaments by the men and that was really awesome. At 9:30 the pool was back open and teens and families came out and enjoyed the water. Some of the young men came and had their hair cuts. What a turn out. We hope to have many more next weekend this was our second night at the Kennedy center.

Tonight at the kennedy ctr. we had 316 people from the community to show up. Tonight’s activities were dance competitions. Wii resorts tournament, and also basketball games. Tonight 93.3 ‘the beat’ came out and represented and gave away prizes. We also had a couple a of fitness trainers working and dancing with our under age children in fitness challenge. So, that was our night at on the eastside of town, see you next time. Gooodnight!!!!

Oh my gosh today was a very wonderful day we had some icy cold snow cones for the hot humid weather tonight 82 people which still turned out as a lovely summer night we all gathered and around and ate bbq chicken at the pool that the pool staff put together even though we had a calm night we made sure that everybody enjoyed their self’s we always guarantee our people to have the time of their lives when they come and chill and ball with us on the weekends.
July 8 - Friday
234! 234! 234! We have done it again 234 people on this rainy night. When I tell you we had a ball 2 night for the nutrientionist we made Avacado Chicken Wraps, Deli sandwiches, strawberries yummy yummy kiwi yummy yummy cantalopes yummy yummy pineapples yummy yummy watermelon slices yummy yummy grapes yummy yummy and florida oranges yummy yummy we had excitement at the pool and we had a championship game in gym. We had a very fruity night 2 night.
Friday 7/15
- OMG!! We enjoyed our night tonight, we played uno ‘Dezi” kept getting mad because he kept losing (lol). Then when he finally started to win, he got excited. We also had a basketball tournament, our nutrient lady came tonight (yum, yum). A lot of the kids enjoyed the food that was offered tonight. Last but not lest, the pool was off the chain tonight, everybody came enjoyed the activities. What can we say; Tonight was a good night.
Saturday 7/16
- Tonight at the Kennedy center we watch this movie called “The Training Day” and for the kids “Popeye” (the cartoon). We played Uno, Scrabble, and Connect 4, also we had a lot ppl in the gym. Yea it was a slow night but the pool did their usual thing of keeping it tight with the life guards on the mic and the teenagers dancing. Our numbers was 147 but it was a good night.
Friday, July 22
TODAY at the kennedy center 224 people came out tonight. The nutritionist lady came out and shout it down!!! She brought fruits and veggies. She also made homemade banana pudding and all the kids enjoyed it; big kids too. We had more people at the pool and on the basketball courts (inside & out) the night was a BLAST!!!!!!!
Saturday 7/23 Tonight at the kennedy ctr., we had 268 people. We had a wonderful time, our SNL staff did our dance. Everyone at the pool joined in and danced with us. We had a gym filled with the ballers and shot callers. After everything was calm, the pool had their regular off the hook night club atmosphere of the neighborhoods finest. It was a good to for all that attended. Another night in the books for SNL crew, PEAce out,…..
7/29 Tonight at Kennedy Center we had 81 people and everyone went straight to the pool. Our gym didn’t have the normal activity, but it still “do what it do”. The nutritionist lady came out and everyone loved what she brought to the center. She served fruits, and vegetables in the form sliced wraps with nuts and also other great things. The library should love by sending representatives and they had coloring books for the kids, and puzzles that push you to the limit. Until next time……Peace
7/30 Tonight at the Kennedy center, we had 257 people in attendance, and everyone had a great time. The night started out slow but with the gym open, ballers from main st. to Jessie st. came to throw down. The movie of the night was “The Karate Kid”, we didn’t get a lot of people to watch it but a nice few did.The pool was THICK. Our lifeguards was keepin’ it real. We had rappin’ by the boyz and dancing by the girls. We had the library people come by and give the little kids some coloring to do, they even passed out some dry jokey jokes!???? All in all that night was all good.
8/5 Hold up….wait a minute someone pulled the fire alarm; Who did it???? Tonight was a crazy, we had people come from the other side of Main st., the pool was off the chain and the nutritionist had a new menu. Our lifeguards, once again, did there thing by holding “The Kennedy Rapp Battle”. The nutritionist had a New Attitude this weekend. She had sandwiches, fruit, and taco sauce. She had a taco salad that was Mmmm, Mmmm, good. The people licked their fingers after they ate. The gym will always be a crowd pleaser, because ballers from all around came to participate. Well, T.T.I.N. (Ta Ta For Now)…..
Friday, Aug 12: Anybody home???? Anybody there, we didn’t get it thumping tonight. The night looked real dark over here on the eastside. We didn’t know whether it was going to be a storm or just a lot of rain. The crowd wasn’t feeling us but the few people that showed ate great!!! We had chicken wings, fruit, and pasta salad, it was soooo good people came back for seconds. As the night closed the pool opened and everyone got in, so I think it was ok. Well not much happen but man we are full. See ya soon.
Last Blog and Testament: Well, Well, Well….we have come to the last song on the cd and truthfully, it was too soon. The patrons knew as well that this was the last night of SNL and they were surprisingly sad to see it end. Sure we had a few boo boos along the way but we had fun and ate good. The rain slowed down our normal party out there, so we took to the game room. The kids danced and the game room was live as las Vegas would be. WE at the kennedy center would like to thank all that gave toward our cause and hope that they will do the same in the near future. As I end my blog always remember; “There’s no better side then the one down by uptown, The R.F.Kennedy Center…Yall come back now, ya here!!!!
8/6 It was slow, so slow, but looky looky…. The neighborhood finally showed!!! Tonight we finally got everyone to come and see. No nutritionist on Saturdays, but we had a great time. We just really hanged out tonight. Nothing special, nothing really great happened but we just listened to music and had great talks. Our numbers weren’t that good (161) so we’ll try it again next week.
