The Waterfront Management and Programming Division operates nature preserves and parks, offers environmental education programs and takes the lead in restoring and managing fragile ecosystems.
 
The division operates in a unique partnership with federal, state and private groups to preserve northeast Florida's fragile historic, cultural and environmental wonders.
