Marinas and Waterways: Boating Information
As part of Mayor Alvin Brown's committment to take Jacksonville to the next level, he is enhancing access to area waterways. The mayor recently annonced 12 newly-designated kayak launch sites along the St. Johns River and its tributaries, with plans to announce additional sites as they are developed. With the increased access, JaxParks now has 44 launch sites for motorized and/or non-motorized watercraft. (Check out kayak video on Kayak/Canoe Launches tab!)
