The Police Athletic League (PAL) is a youth activities program run by police officers and volunteers for the purpose of preventing juvenile crime and drug use. The program provides positive role models. It develops discipline, self-esteem, and positive moral values through wholesome competition.
Some of the sports activities are basketball, boxing, cheerleading, football, karate, and track and field. Other activities include a mentoring, tutoring and a summer day camp.
