Currency/Narcotics Interdiction Squad

The Currency/Narcotics Transportation Interdiction Squad (CNTI) is a participant in the North Florida High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (NFHIDTA) initiative and is responsible for investigating and intervening in the influx and outflow of narcotics in Duval County. 

CNTI accomplishes this goal through coordinated highway interdiction, mass transportation operations, and freight checks of various parcel service companies. Its efforts are further enhanced through coordinated efforts with the U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Coast Guard, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Highway Patrol, and other local, state, and federal agencies.
