Mayor and Sheriff to Take the Court in the Police Athletic League Charity Basketball Game on February 13

JACKSONVILLE, FL (February 1, 2016) – Team captains Mayor Lenny Curry and Sheriff Mike Williams will play in the inaugural “The Mayor vs. The Sheriff Ballin’ 4 PAL Charity Basketball Game” at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the PAL Monument location (3450 Monument Road).
The proceeds from this year’s charity basketball game will provide scholarships for underprivileged kids to participate in organized sports, where they will learn social skills, character building and sportsmanship.
