Public Safety involves partnership. I invite you to partner with your men and women in blue uniforms. When citizens and police officers know and trust one another, they become unified in their approach to crime. For my part, I pledge to work with you and faithfully honor the oath of office I took at the start of my term.
With your help, we can build on the benefits that have already been provided by the neighborhood walks, advisory councils and stop stations that are currently in place. I will seek your input in order to meet your needs. I intend to ride with patrol officers throughout the city on a regular basis so I can experience firsthand the challenges and issues that exist in our community today. Let us pledge to work together to make Jacksonville an even better and safer place to live.
