ShAdCo Information

The Sheriff's Advisory Councils (ShAdCo) were established to assist the JSO accomplish its mission. ShAdCo members are a notable example of police-citizen partnerships. They provide feedback on law enforcement issues. They report suspected criminal activity and traffic problems in their sector.

Meetings: 6 p.m., 3rd Tuesday of month at the JSO/FSCJ Criminal Justice Training Center, located at 4715 Capper Road, west of FSCJ's North Campus past the baseball stadium.

Sector Q
Chair: Bill Higginbotham
Co-Chair: Martel Clark
Meetings: 6 p.m., 4th Tuesday of the month at Hampton Inn, 13551 Airport Court, Conference Room, Jacksonville, FL 32218.

*Note: All ShAdCo meetings are subject to change Please contact the zone telephone number to verify meeting time and location before the meeting date. Please note that most ShAdCos do not meet in December. In November all ShAdCos meet together for an annual city-wide meeting.

You can go to a substation for most non-emergency police services. For example, if you need a police report, you can go to a substation.

Effective April 1, 2012 fingerprint services will only be available at the Police Memorial Building located at 501 E. Bay Street or at one of the locations on the FDLE Authorized Fingerprint Providers List.

The zone commander's office is at the substation and patrol officers assigned to the zone report there for roll call.
