Administrative Services
Just like your vehicle needs maintenance and attention, so do fire engines, ladder trucks and rescue units – also known as apparatus. The Administrative Services Division not only helps keep JFRD’s fire apparatus in operation, it also oversees the procurement and custom design of these highly specialized vehicles, including fireboats.
Facilities maintenance for all of JFRD’s 54 fire stations is also part of this division’s responsibility. The division also oversees the logistics of purchasing supplies and other resources a fire and rescue department needs for its daily operations. Administrative Services also assists in determining the location and construction of new fire stations. The division has 13 employees.
