Ancillary Legal Charges

To provide the necessary litigation and transactional support for unforeseen claims and issues on behalf of the consolidated government, there has been established within the Office of General Counsel the Ancillary Legal Account. Each cost is monitored and approved by the Office of General Counsel. The payment of these costs is necessary for the protection of the city’s assets and the defense of city policies.
