The Ethics Office is established in Chapter 602, Ordinance Code and ensures compliance by city employees and officials with the many rules and regulations established by state and local law. The Ethics Office is budgetarily accounted for and supported in the Office of General Counsel.
The Ethics Office, through the city’s appointed Ethics Officer, coordinates training and compliance activities with the Ethics Commission, the city’s Inspector General, the Office of General Counsel, and state agencies.

The Ethics Office’s budget was $93,225.
