Housing Services Division

This division manages housing-related initiatives to support affordable housing for low- and moderate-income citizens.  This is done through public and private partnerships that provide funding for rental and utility assistance, emergency shelter for the homeless, debt counseling, homebuyer readiness counseling, down payment assistance, home renovation/repair services for qualified homeowners and acquisition/rehabilitation for vacant and deteriorated homes.    
 
2011 Budget:
The Housing Services Division overall budget is $8,581,581 coming from a variety of federal and state grants. None of the division’s funding comes from the city’s General Fund.  
 
 
2010 Budget:
The Housing Services Division had an overall budget of $12,832,000, which came from a variety of federal and state grants. None of the division’s funding came from the city’s General Fund.
