Right of Way and Grounds Maintenance
This division has 439 employees that maintain streets, highways, parks, drainage systems and city landscaping. It also provides and maintains traffic control devices including traffic signals.
Division staff members maintain 1,150 traffic signals, more than 5,200 linear miles of drainage ditches, over 200 bridges, 177 stormwater ponds and 3,619 miles of roads. In addition, it manages landscaping services for all city buildings/facilities and grounds maintenance for more than 6,500 acres of public land, including more than 300 parks.
