The City of Jacksonville, Housing and Community Development Division (HCDD) administers federal funds received from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The City uses the funds to preserve neighborhoods, create and preserve affordable housing, and stimulate economic revitalization.
On March 12, 2019, the City of Jacksonville Housing and Community Development Division issued a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for affordable housing development projects. Funding will be made available through the 2019 HOME program grant which the City receives from HUD each year. These funds will be made available in the form of repayable loans.
Applications for funding will be due by Friday, May 3, 2019 at 5:00 PM. No applications will be accepted from developers or agencies that have NOT attended a mandatory technical assistance workshop. For Technical Assistance, after attending a workshop, email questions to COJRLF@coj.net.

Deadline to hand deliver or mail applications from for-profit and non-profit agencies is Friday, May 3, 2019 at 5:00 PM.
Applicants that meet threshold criteria to be notified no later than Friday, May 17, 2019.
Applicants eligible for contract negotiation and final underwriting will be announced on Friday, June 14, 2019.
