The City of Jacksonville, Housing and Community Development Division (HCDD) administers federal funds received from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  The City uses the funds to preserve neighborhoods, create and preserve affordable housing, and stimulate economic revitalization.  On September 13, 2018, the City of Jacksonville Housing and Community Development Division will be issuing a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for affordable housing development projects. Funding will be made available through the 2018 HOME program grant which the City receives from HUD each year. Funds will be made available in the form of repayable loans.  

Applications for funding will be due by 5:00 P.M. November 16, 2018.

Application Process:

Applications will ONLY be accepted from developers or agencies that have attended a mandatory technical assistance workshop. When submitting the application, it is important to remember that the application MUST be submitted with TWO (2) printed copies and ONE (1) digital thumbdrive.
