Mayor Alvin Brown will host the 22nd Annual Mayor’s Environmental Awards to recognize local organizations, companies and individuals who have made significant contributions throughout the year to preserve the environment.
The awards luncheon also provides local environmental organizations the opportunity to present awards to groups and individuals that have made a positive impact on the local environment. This year’s theme is “Advancing Environmental Stewardship,” with a focus on encouraging others to take a positive role in preserving the environment.
