Three-Day Pet Adoption Event

April 06, 2013 - April 06, 2013 Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Animal Care & Protective Services
2020 Forest Street
Jacksonville, Florida 32204
The City of Jacksonville’s Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS), in conjunction with area pet partners First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP), Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS) and Friends of Jacksonville Animals (FOJA), will host a three-day adoption at its facility just west of Riverside.
ACPS is experiencing an extremely high number of dogs, prompting the local pet organizations to come together to help adopt and foster these highly-adoptable pets. Typical capacity for dogs at ACPS is 56 dogs, however; last week, as many as 160 adoptable dogs were housed at ACPS.

A special adoption rate of $20 will be offered for dogs and cats on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Note: On Saturday, April 6 ACPS and FOJA will host the first Saturday of the month pet adoption event featuring a food truck, sponsors, and vendors. FOJA will host a charity dog wash and yard sale as well.  See flyer.
