City of Jacksonville Recognized as one of the First Coast’s Healthiest

April 25, 2018
The First Coast Worksite Wellness Council (FCWWC) has recognized the City of Jacksonville as one of the First Coast’s Healthiest Companies at its 2018 Annual Worksite Wellness Conference luncheon.
The FCWWC recognizes local businesses for their efforts in creating a culture of health and wellness within their organizations. The City of Jacksonville earned a Silver level award for promoting a healthy lifestyle through communications and on-site activities, as well as establishing wellness champions and allocating funds toward the implementation of a wellness program for employees. Go365™, a wellness program designed to reward employees for making healthy choices from fitness to education activities, was launched by the City in 2017. Activities offered through the Go365™ program support continued efforts to strengthen initiatives that improve personal and community health through the citywide Journey to One campaign. The FCWWC, an initiative of Healthy Jacksonville 2020, has a mission to improve the health of the First Coast community by sharing resources and providing guidance through member businesses.
