Jacksonville Shelter Animals Need Your Help!

January 24, 2017
City of Jacksonville Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) non-profit partner -- Friends of Jacksonville Animals (FOJA), has requested a few items that are running extremely low at the shelter.
While shopping online or in stores, local animals lovers are asked to keep shelter animals in mind. The most current needs include tip caps for liquid medicine, canned dog food and Velveeta-type cheese (which makes pill time yummy for dogs). Items can be purchased at local retail stores, or by visiting Smile.Amazon.com, where citizens can choose Friends of Jacksonville Animals as their designated charity.

Donations should be shipped or delivered to:
Animal Care & Protective Services
2020 Forest Street
Jacksonville, Florida 32204

In addition to promoting pet adoptions and the need for temporary foster homes, support and funding from FOJA provides medical treatment, supplies, equipment and other resources used by the ACPS to serve animals in need.
