The games will take place throughout the following week concluding Saturday, Oct. 6. The City’s annual event encourages healthy and active lifestyles for men and women ages 50 and over and includes brackets for different age groups with opportunities to win gold, silver and bronze medals. Hosted at various venues throughout Jacksonville, the events are designed for both seasoned and novice-level athletes. Citizens are encouraged to experience all of the fun and camaraderie these Olympic-style events bring to our community. The Opening Ceremonies will take place at 11 a.m. at Metropolitan Park II (1406 Gator Bowl Blvd – 32202).
