School’s Out, Fun’s In: First Day of Summer Camps

From surfing in the Atlantic Ocean to enjoying a Jumbo Shrimp game, JaxParks is making summertime the best time for kids with its fun camp options. 
Now through July 26, youth ages 6 - 17 can participate in one or more of the three two-week sessions available for the Day Enrichment, Tennis and Ocean camps. Summer Camp

Ages: 6 - 12
Fee: $75 per camper per two-week session, plus a required non-refundable activity fee of $20 per camper per two-week session. Extended day is available for a fee of $20 per camper per two-week session

Campers will explore nature, play team sports, challenge their game skills and tap into their creative imagination while developing education and social skills.  They will also meet guest speakers and enjoy trips to places like a Jumbo Shrimp Game, the Jacksonville Zoo, and Adventure Landing.  Add to all of that an End of Summer Bash featuring a field day of fun, games, and music; and no one will want to miss this JaxParks summer camp.
  • Session 1: June 17-28, 2019 (Imaginarium)
  • Session 2: July 1-12, 2019 (Treasure Hunt)
  • Sesion 3: July 15-26, 2019 (Move it! Move It!)

Tennis Camp

Ages: 6 - 15
Fees: $40 per camper per two-week session

Campers will participate based on age and skill level. Ten (10) and Under Tennis for ages 6 - 10 utilizes age-appropriate equipment and is played on a smaller sized court. Advanced Beginners for ages 11 - 15 emphasizes serving techniques and game play situations.

Ocean Camp

Ages: 8 - 15
Fee: $150 per participant per two-week session, extended day is available for $25 per two-week session

Participants explore the waters and shoreline at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park. Activities include surfing, sand castle creation, beach art, beach volleyball and environmental adventures. Campers must pass a pre-registration swim test administered by JaxParks staff.
