Jacksonville Human Rights Commission

April 2017 marks the 49th anniversary of the adoption of Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act, commonly known as the Fair Housing Act. The legislation, passed to prevent discrimination in housing based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, or disability, was signed into law by President Lyndon Johnson on April 11, 1968.

The 2017 Jacksonville Human Rights Commission Fair Housing Symposium is a FREE event open to public. Whether you're a housing professional (realtors, property managers and landlords), or a housing seeker (renters and buyers) we have the information you need.
