Pedestrian and Bicycle Traffic Count
In September 2020, the City of Jacksonville launched its first independent Bicyclist and Pedestrian Traffic Monitoring Program as an effort to count the number of nonmotorized trips made citywide by foot, wheelchair, and bicycle. In November 2020, the City of Jacksonville partnered with
Downtown Vision, Inc.
and
JTC Running
to install the first bicycle and pedestrian counter along the Riverwalk at Corkscrew Park.
