Notice is hereby given that Council Member Bill Gulliford will meet with Council Member Lori Boyer on Monday, April 20, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., in Conference Room A, located at 117 West Duval Street, 4th Floor, City Hall, Suite 425, St. James Building, Jacksonville, FL 32202.  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the following legislation:

 

2015-186 – ORD Authorizing an Interlocal Svc Boundary Agreement with Atlantic Beach Providing for Annexation of Certain Lands from Jax to City of Atlantic Beach upon which the Atlantic Beach Country Club (f/k/a Selva Marina Country Club) is being Redeveloped by Atlantic Beach Partners, LLC.

Third Annual Earth Day Downtown Cleanup
April 18, 2015 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

The city’s Keep Jacksonville Beautiful (KJB) Commission, along with Downtown Vision, Inc. and the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, are organizing the third annual Earth Day Downtown Cleanup. Residents and volunteers, along with support from local businesses, will pick up litter in the area bordered by Liberty, Water, Jefferson and Church streets. Gloves, bags and other cleanup supplies will be provided by KJB. 

The cleanup precedes the annual Earth Day Ecology Fair at the Jacksonville Landing. Volunteers are asked to gather at the front steps off Independent Drive promptly at 8 a.m. for sign-in.
