All members of City Boards and Commissions are required by local law to complete training provided by the City’s Ethics Office. This should be completed within six months of appointment and renewed at least once every four years. A completed knowledge check is required prior to training. Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc. has partnered with the City of Jacksonville's Military Affairs & Veterans Department to host a series of Ask-A-Lawyer events for Veterans.
Every 2nd Thursday a VSO will be at the Charles Webb Wesconnett Regional Library to provide general information on MAVD services, HVRP, tax preparation and upcoming events. . They can also assist clients with completing an Intent to File claim.
