MOUs, LOUs and other agreements with independent agencies

Per Section 163.01, Florida Statues, an interlocal agreement is an agreement entered into by a political subdivision which can include any state, county, city, school district, special district, elected county officer, agency of the U.S. Government, Native American tribe or administrative entity. It is intended to allow local government units to provide services or facilities to another local government unit or public agency on a basis of mutual advantage and cooperation for the betterment of the local community needs.
