Council Member Samuel Newby attended the kick off for the 2015 Jax Reads! program held at the Main Library.  Also attending were Council Member Bill Gulliford, Mayor Lenny Curry, and Council Member Scott Wilson.

The communitywide reading initiative encourages Jacksonville residents to read "Brown Girl Dreaming," a NewYork Times best-seller by Jacqueline Woodson.
